In my Batanes write-up, I posted a few photos of my grandmother when she was in Batanes 20 years prior. Upon checking old photo albums again, I was surprised that my grandmother also went to Beijing 20 years before us. It’s really amazing seeing travel photos side by side with a 20 year gap.
